The most consistent spot on the Crozon peninsula. The spot is regulary crowd but the beach is 2km long and there is several peaks depend of the tide.

The perfect spot for beginners and familial activities. The beach is very large and there is place for everyone. The Access is very easy.

La Torche

Ideal swell size: 1ft to 8ft

Optimum tide: All tides, better at mid-tide, high tide

Opt. wind direction: S-SE-E-NE

Opt. Swell: NW-W

Level: All surfers

Seminal Brittany surfspot with ultra-consistent, walled-up peak breaking beside rocky headland. Shorter but hollower rights break into the rip known as the elevator, which flows straight to the peak. Lefts speed down the beach, but paddle back can be gruelling, so think about walking around to the rip.

 

AREA: La Torche point

La Torche point is where the surf started in Brittany. It is the more consistent and legendary surf area.

Port Rhu

Área: Quiberon’s bay

Waves: multi-peak

Break: Beach break

Ideal swell size: 2ft to 10ft

Optimum tide: mid-tide, low tide

Opt. wind direction:

Opt. Swell: W-SW

Level: Experienced

Port Rhu in Brittany is an exposed beach break with consistent surf. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the west/southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Sometimes crowded.

 

AREA: Quiberon’s bay

Quiberon’s bay is a concentration of some of the best spots in Brittany, with some hollow and powerful waves.

Ideal swell size: 3ft to 10 ft

Optimum tide: mid-tide, high tide

Opt. wind direction: SE-E-NE

Opt. Swell: W - SW

Level: All Surfers

Better at mid tide to high tide. The NE wind is better for the northern beach and the SE wind for the southern beach. Attention: this beach can be closed on Wednesday, Tuesday and Friday (because of the Army training). Lots of swimmers in the water during summer, so be careful.
